Miramichi, New Brunswick’s country music sweetheart, Amelia Underhill, released her debut single, “Young Love and Summertime,” at the end of 2021. The young singer/songwriter picked up the guitar at 13, but her passion for music was evident early on, with family and friends noting she could sing before she could talk. She began performing live shows in her hometown and started songwriting, with her first original song, “The Country Raised Me Right,” written at 14.

Between 2018 and 2023, Amelia appeared on multiple episodes of Rogers TV’s ‘Miramichi Songwriters,’ discussing her songwriting process and showcasing her original songs. In April 2023, she released her second single, “Old Black Truck,” and in December of 2024 she released her most recent single “Whiskey Talkin’” which was a duet with Riley Taylor.

Amelia has been working on new singles for 2025. Last year in July of 2024 she had her biggest event, where she performed at the Cavendish Beach Music festival on the Emerging Artist Stage. Amelia Underhill’s heartfelt lyrics and captivating performances continue to endear her to fans, making her a rising star in the country music scene.
