Sara & James Nelson
☘ Saturday, September 27, 2025, 7-9 pm
You have to hear these two to believe it! Sara and James Nelson are a dynamic sibling duo from Lower Coverdale, New Brunswick, known for their spirited performances of traditional Maritime fiddle music. Starting at a young age, they have captivated audiences across the Maritimes and beyond, performing at church functions, local jam nights, and even entertaining patients in hospitals. Their musical journey began as the house band for the Molly Kool Kitchen Party at Fundy National Park, where they performed for six years. Over the years, they have won fiddle competitions across New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Ontario. In 2024, they were invited to compete in the prestigious Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Contest in Whitehorse.
They have performed at events such as the PEI Festival of Small Halls, Cavendish Beach Music Festival and Rollo Bay Fiddle Festival. Their talent has also taken them to Dollywood in Tennessee and the HebCelt Festival in Scotland.
Now focusing primarily on their duo performances, Sara is studying music performance at Holland College, and James is in Grade 11 at Riverview High. The pair is currently recording their first album, set for release later this year. With their infectious energy and deep love for Celtic and old-time music, Sara and James continue to share the magic of Maritime fiddle music.

Terry Whalen
Saturday, August 9th, 2025, 6-9 pm
Terry Whalen is a singer/songwriter who has been playing guitar and developing his songwriting chops for over 40 years. His influences may surprise some when you read the names of hard rock acts like Van Halen, AC/DC and ZZ Top to perhaps less mainstream artists and songwriters as John Haitt or Steve Earle. Terry is as comfortable sharing originals from any one of his 7 albums or a collection of familiar classics. Terry is a three-time ECMA nominee and two-time Music New Brunswick Award winner for Blues Recording of the Year. He has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the business including Blue Rodeo, Johnny Lange and MonkeyJunk and East Coast legends: Matt Andersen, Matt Minglewood and Garrett Mason. One thing is for sure, Terry is as energized to perform for you today as he ever has, whether it is solo with an acoustic guitar, or wielding an electric guitar with his rock/blues power trio Hot Powder.
