Leigh Bursey

Performing under the moniker Pilgrim, Pilgrim, Leigh Zachary Bursey is an activist, journalist and researcher residing in Blackville, Miramichi River Valley, New Brunswick.  Leigh performs a variety of styles musically, and released his first solo album “Lullabies for Perpetual Crises” in July of 2024 which is available in vinyl and CD form.  Influences include: The Pixies, The Clash, Smashing Pumpkins, Lumineers, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, The Band, The Rolling Stones, folk, rock, alternative.  Leigh has 20 years of stage experience and has shared the stage and festival dates with such acts as CrazyTown, Finger Eleven, illScarlett, My Darkest Days, Madchild, Kenny (of Kenny Vs. Spenny), Charlie Angus (Canadian Parliamentarian, of Grievous Angels), and many more.
